An Indigenous-led and -designed program for Indigenous inclusion in the industry
Creating Career Pathways in Commercial Real Estate (CCPCRE) is a partnership comprised of Oteenow Employment and Training (OET), Tribal Chiefs Employment and Training Services Association (TCETSA) and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), with the purpose to build capacity for Indigenous inclusion in the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) industry.
This project is made possible through a grant from the Alberta Real Estate Foundation.
The Alberta Real Estate Foundation invests in real estate policy, research, practices, and education that strengthen Alberta’s communities. The Foundation’s revenues comes from the Interest earned on public money deposited in real estate broker’s pooled trust accounts. Learn more at www.aref.ab.ca.
THE CCPCRE HAS THREE GOALS.
GOAL 1
Build capacity by facilitating CRE careers for Indigenous Peoples through hands-on training and mentorship.
GOAL 2
Build capacity by providing Indigenous-focused educational opportunities to CRE companies through seminars.
GOAL 3
Conduct research and identify gaps relating to Indigenous engagement, partnerships, employment and procurement.
